

He received his Animal Science degree from NCSU in 1978 and entered veterinary school at Auburn University where he graduated with his DVM degree in 1982. He then attended the Naval Academy Prep School from 1973-1974 and received an appointment to the Naval Academy but instead decided to attend North Carolina State University. Parks has found his areas of interest to have remained unchanged across the two fields. He continues to maintain his large animal practice on a limited and smaller scale. After 8.5 years he entered a mobile large animal practice until May of 2017 when he returned to small animal practice by joining Asheboro Animal Hospital. Not only did this allow development in the ever growing and advancing small animal field of veterinary medicine but for him, the large animal field also. Parks began his career at a local well established mixed animal practice in Asheboro. His career pursuit was completed upon graduation from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in June 1979.ĭr. His undergraduate pre-veterinary studies were at NC State University. Throughout childhood he was exposed to farm animals along with the family dogs and cats upon which his desire only strengthened. Perry Parks is a native of Asheboro, NC who at the age of six knew he wanted to become a veterinarian. Outside of veterinary medicine, he enjoys cooking, gardening, and relaxing in the pool.Dr. They also have a small flock of chickens and a horse. They have a few pets that are collectively called the “Spice Rack:” Coriander, a hound Basil, a terrier Tarragon, a terrier and Stella, a long-haired cat. Goff is married to another veterinarian, Sara, who he met in school. He believes preventative care is very important and always advocates for the best care of his patients.ĭr. His interests include internal medicine, endocrinology, cardiology, and ultrasound. Goff enjoys practicing and educating his clients on their pet’s health. After graduating, he went on to complete a year-long small animal rotating internship at Purdue University before moving back to North Carolina.ĭr. He went on to receive his doctorate of veterinary medicine from North Carolina State University in 2015. He received his Bachelor of Science in both chemistry and animal science from the University of Maryland in 2011.



William Goff has lived in North Carolina for several years practicing primarily small animal medicine.
